Come in and welcome back La Trappe under its original name. Due to legal issues with a monastic community in Iowa also known as La Trappe, who make coffins, not beer, the monks at the only monastic brewery outside of Belgium were prevented from using their longtime moniker in America. The issues are settled and La Trappe is back. We will be giving away glassware while it lasts and pouring La Trappe Witte, Double and Quadruple. We’ll have menu pairing suggestions also. As always, profits from La Trappe beer sales go to maintaining their brother abbeys in Uganda.
